blackened cherry tumbler

This mug is handcrafted from Tennessee cherry and oxidized with a vinegar solution that reacts to the natural tannins in the wood to create a black surface.  It is ideal for coffee or tea.  It is finished with multiple coats of Hassui Ceramic which is a foodsafe japanese finish which protects the wood and creates a waterproof surface.  

Measurements: Capacity=6 ounces.  2.25" x 3.25".

Care instructions:  Hand wash with warm, soapy water.  Do not soak.  Do not put in dishwasher or microwave.
